At Leader Education, we are seeking a Teaching Assistant to support children within a Mainstream school who cater for primary students, this school is based in Amble, Northumberland. The role will be to support a SEND child 1:1 in Reception/Year 1.

The ideal Teaching Assistant will have had previous experience working with young people as well as a genuine interest and commitment to helping them reach their full potential.

This role is a part-time position working 16.5hrs over the week.

The successful Candidate will:

• Candidates will need an enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check or the willingness to obtain one
• Ideally have experience in a classroom setting or have transferrable skills
• Have a passion for teaching and learning with the ability to make learning enjoyable and fun
• Prepare and adapt learning materials to meet the needs of students
• Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a commitment to collaborative working
