Exciting Opportunity: Teaching Assistant at a Leading Therapeutic Education Service in Ellesmere Port, Cheshire!

Leader Group is thrilled to partner with a renowned Therapeutic Education Service provider to recruit passionate Teaching Assistants. We have an exceptional opportunity available in Runcorn, Cheshire.

Position: Teaching Assistant
Location: Ellesmere Port, Runcorn, Cheshire
Salary: £23,400 - £24,765

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mentor, Support, inspire: Work closely with learners, providing curriculum-based support both in the classroom and through home tuition, outreach, and outdoor activities.
  • Prepare and Deliver: Assist in preparing learning materials and contribute to achieving learning objectives, with a strong emphasis on behavioural management.
  • Track Progress: Maintain daily reports on learners' progress and address any barriers to learning.
  • Engage with Families: Regularly communicate and interact with parents and caregivers to ensure a holistic approach to education.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Passion for SEND: Demonstrates a committed and passionate approach to supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
  • Experience: A minimum of two years' experience in a SEND environment or similar educational setting.
  • Qualifications: A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is advantageous.
