Job Title: Teaching Assistant

Leader Education are recruiting a passionate Teaching Assistant for a Newcastle based Primary school.

The successful Teaching Assistant will be joining an experienced and enthusiastic team that is committed to providing an exciting curriculum.

The normal working pattern is Monday-Friday 8:30 until 16:30 and is a long-term position.

The successful candidate will:

• Have a fully enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one.
• Have experience of working in a transferable role.
• Follow personalised curriculums and care plans to meet pupil's requirements.
• Work with pupils on both a 1:1 basis and in group settings, communicating effectively.
• Participate in the planning and implementation of the child's curriculum through lesson planning and delivery.
• Possess good classroom skills.
• Set up lessons, equipment, and activities within the classrooms.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other teams to create a holistic supportive environment for the pupil.
