Job Title: Senior Administrator
Location: South Tyneside
Contract Type: Long-term
Leader Education are recruiting an organised, personable Administrator to work within a South Tyneside based Primary School.
The ideal candidate will have prior administrative experience or transferable experience from customer service/HR roles.
This vibrant primary school is dedicated to creating a positive, safe, and welcoming environment for all students, staff and visitors. Their vision emphasises fostering a supportive and inclusive atmosphere where everyone can thrive.
The normal working pattern is Monday-Friday 8:30am until 4pm and is a long-term position.
The successful candidate will:
- Have an enhanced DBS on the update system or be willing to obtain one.
- Be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Be proficient in using computers, using systems such as Microsoft and SIMS.
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a positive and friendly demeanour, being able to form a rapport with pupils, parents, teachers, and visitors.
- Oversee daily administrative operations of the school, ensuring a safe and productive environment for students, staff and visitors.
- Have strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Have a professional and confident phone manner.
- Be able to deal with attendance related matters.
