Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant

Contract Type: Day-to-day, Short-time, Long Term, Permanent

Leader Education are recruiting people to work at Schools based in the Kirklees area. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children/adults with SEND or SEMH needs. The schools cater for young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties and complex Special Educational Needs & Disabilities (SEND) aged between 4-18.

The normal working pattern is Monday-Friday 8:30am until 4pm

The successful candidate will have:

• Have experience working with children/adults with complex needs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Adaptability and a commitment to meeting the diverse needs of students
• Proficiency in utilising technology for teaching and learning purposes
