Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant

Location: Bradford

Contract Type: Day-to-day, Short-time, Long Term, Permanent

Leader Education are recruiting people to work at Schools based in the Bradford area. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children/adults with SEND or SEMH needs. The schools cater for young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties and complex Special Educational Needs & Disabilities (SEND) aged between 4-18.

The normal working pattern is Monday-Friday 8:30am until 4pm

The successful candidate will have:

• A passion for working with children with additional needs
• Experience of working with children and young adults with challenging behaviour.
• Provide calming and nurturing support for some of the most vulnerable students with EHCP's.
• A passion for the progress of children with SEMH needs
• An ability to work as part of a team
• Moving and Handling
