SEND SCIENCE TEACHER - IMMEDIATE START
Job Title: SEND Science Teacher - Immediate Start
Location: Stockport, Greater Manchester
Contract Type: Full-time, long-term with potential to be permenant, IMMEDIATE START
Leader Education are currently recruiting for a Science Teacher for a small SEND school in Stockport. The school provides education for students aged 11 - 18, who have been diagnosed with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, and Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC). The school aims to provide a structured day with set lessons that incorporate the core subjects, personal development, and creative outlets.
The ideal candidate will be dedicated and passionate about education. We are looking for someone who can take a nurturing but firm approach, and has excellent behaviour management skills. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is an advantage but not essential. Previous experience teaching children with SEMH/ASC will be taken into consideration.

This is a full-time contract, initially temporary, but has the potential to be permenant.
The successful candidate will have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
- Previous experience teaching Sceince within a Secondary School and be willing to give permission to obtain references
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent planning and the ability to deliver fun and engaging lessons
- Adaptability and a commitment to meeting the diverse needs of students
- Proficiency in utilising technology for teaching and learning purposes
