Job Title: SEMH Teacher

Location: Wakefield, West Yorkshire

Contract Type: Long term

Leader Education are recruiting a confident and experienced Teacher to work at a specialist SEMH provision based in Wakefield. The ideal candidate will have QTS as well as experience in working with children with SEND and challenging behaviour. The school caters for young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties in Key Stage 3 and 4 and are specifically looking for someone to support their students aged 11 to 16 years old. Primary teachers who are experienced with SEMH are welcome to apply.

The normal working pattern is Monday-Friday 8:30am until 4pm and is a long term position.

The successful candidate will have:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
* Proven experience working with children with SEMH needs, preferably at Key Stage 3 & 4 level.
* Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
* Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of students and the school environment.
* Primary Teachers with relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
