Job description
Leader Education is looking for a highly motivated Science Teacher to join a mainstream secondary school in North Tyneside. The ideal Science Teacher will possess a strong knowledge of science as well as Mathematics and a great passion for teaching. This school caters for children aged 11 to 16 years old with its most recent Ofsted report being described as "Good". This school is committed to delivering high-quality teaching, creating a happy and inspiring environment for learning.
The ideal Science Teacher will have:
- An enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one
- A Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and will be able to provide your TRN.
- A Bachelor's degree in science.
- Will have an ability to cover mathematics lessons as and when needed.
- Great communication and interpersonal skills
- A great understanding of safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children
- A patient, compassionate personality and the ability to support the students in accessing the curriculum and classroom activities
