Job Title: Learning Support Assistant

Leader Education are recruiting a Learning Support Assistant to work at a Newcastle based primary school.

Working with pupils from ages 3- 11, the ideal Learning Support Assistant will be enthusiastic and resilient, radiating positivity.

This school is a part of the SMART Multi Academy Trust - a trust with a passion for providing children in the community with the very best of opportunities. Staff within this school have successfully created an environment in which its pupils become well rounded and confident individuals.

The normal working pattern is Monday-Friday 8:30-16:30 and is a long-term position.

The successful candidate will:

• Have a fully enhanced DBS on the update service or a willingness to obtain one.
• Have a background working in education or relevant experience.
• Assist pupils in lessons and activities.
• Work effectively with parents, carers, and other members of multidisciplinary teams to provide the best support.
• Be confident in working alongside students, ensuring they are fully supported within their learning and general classroom activities.
• Possess communication skills that can be personalised to suit students of different abilities.
