Position: Humanities Teacher

Location: Leeds

Contract Type: D2D, short-term, long-term temporary with potential to be permanent

Schedule: Monday - Friday

Salary: £160 - £250 per day, depending on experience

Leader Education is currently recruiting for a Humanities Teacher for a Secondary School in Leeds.

We are looking for someone who can teach Humanities at a Key Stage 3 and a Key Stage 4 level. We are also looking for someone who has a genuine passion for education and a desire to inspire children. The ideal candidate would have a kind and caring nature, understanding and compassion, and excellent behaviour management skills.

The ideal candidate:

  • Will have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Will have a relevant degree in Humanities
  • Will have previous experience teaching secondary aged children Humanities
  • Will have good behaviour management skills
  • Will be passionate about teaching and education, compassionate and understanding, and encouraging towards children
  • Will have a good knowledge of Safeguarding and the relevant procedures
