Role: Higher Level Teaching Assistant

Location: Glossop

Salary: £28,000 - £30,000

Hours: 8am - 4pm Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver tailored learning and teaching under the guidance of senior staff.
  • Communicate regularly with education and care teams to address each student's needs.
  • Work across multiple sites and within the community as part of the school's education offering.
  • Safeguard and promote the welfare of the children and young people at all times.

Requirements:

  • Relevant Level 3 teaching assistant qualification or above.
  • Experience in the wider KS2 curriculum and engaging with reluctant learners.
  • Ability to manage challenging behaviour and relate well to young people.
  • Understanding of the national curriculum and experience using various educational tools.
  • Valid UK work eligibility and a manual driving license.
