Leader Education are recruiting a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to work at a Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) School that caters for students in KS1 through to KS4 based in Northumberland. The ideal Teaching Assistant will be HLTA qualified, a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, have experience working with children and young people who need additional help daily, and have a passion for education. The school delivers learning on a holistic basis, enabling them to re-engage at their own speed and reach their full potential.

The normal working pattern is Monday to Friday from 8:30am until 4:30pm and is a long-term position.

The successful candidate will have:

• Enthusiasm for working education.
• HLTA Qualification.
• Experience working on a 1-1 basis.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, students, and parents.
• Demonstrated patience, adaptability, and enthusiasm for supporting student learning.
