Job Title: Food Technology Teacher
Location: Sunderland
Contract Type: Long Term

Leader Education are looking for a Food Technology Teacher to work at an SEMH School based in in Sunderland. You would be working on their KS4 base, providing cooking lesson to their students. Ideally you have experience working with vulnerable children who require extra support.

This school have recently moved to a new base with great facilities. There is a culture of aspiration and motivation throughout the staff and the students. Ofsted rated the school 'Good' and can see the vision to engage, educate and support very vulnerate students.

The normal working pattern is Monday-Friday 8:30am until 4.30pm and is a long-term position, upon a successful trial.

The successful candidate will have:

• QTS/TRN.
• Degree in a related field.
• Adaptability and a commitment to meeting the diverse needs of students.
• A good knowledge on EHCP's.
• Ability to create engaging lesson plans.
• Good communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships.
• Understanding of the importance of safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
