ENGLISH TEACHER

Job Title: English Teacher

Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire

Contract Type: Long-term and short-term positions available, can accommodate full and part time

Leader Education are looking for a dedicated English Teacher for a Secondary School that we work cloesly with in Leeds. The school boasts a first-class education, and excellent facilities such as a sports hall, gymnasium, and large playing fields. They offer an extensive range of lunchtime and after school clubs that support personal and academic growth, and aims to create a happy and purposeful learning environment.

The ideal person will be passionate about English Language and English Literature, and be flexible. The ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons, tailor lessons to the individual learning styles of students, and have good classroom management skills is a must. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is also a must.

ECTs are encouraged to apply.

Full-time and part-time opportunities are available.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
  • Previous experience teaching English within a Secondary School and be willing to give permission to obtain references
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent planning and the ability to deliver fun and engaging lessons
  • Adaptability and a commitment to meeting the diverse needs of students
  • Proficiency in utilising technology for teaching and learning purposes
