Job Title: Computer Science Teacher

Location: North Tyneside

Contract Type: Long term

Leader Education are recruiting a Computer Science Teacher who would thrive within a North Tyneside based Secondary school.

This school prides itself on its rapid journey of improvement, with results rising yearly and achievement being above national average - results in their sixth form are now in the top 5% nationally.

This school promotes a strong culture of respect, ensuring good relationships between their staff and students.

The ideal teacher will be friendly, dedicated with a genuine passion for enriching students education.

The normal working pattern is Monday-Friday 8:30 until 16:30 and is a long-term position.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Qualified teacher status (QTS) and relevant teaching qualifications.
  • A current DBS that is on the update system, or a willingness to obtain one.
  • Previous experience teaching Computer Science.
  • Ability to effectively deliver the curriculum, offering support, advice and guidance to pupils.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with pupils, colleagues, parents, and other professionals.
  • Adaptability and initiative to accommodate for various learning type and abilities, striving towards social and academic development.
  • High expectations and aspirations for young people and themselves.
