Job Title: Children's Support Worker

Location: Calderdale

Contract Type: Day-to-day, Short-time, Long Term, Permanent

We are currently recruiting for Children's support workers to work with children with complex needs in the Calderdale area.

The school caters for children aged 2-19 for pupils with severe, profound and complex needs including hearing, visual impairments, autism spectrum disorder, and other significant health conditions where medical support is required from the nursing team. We also work alongside schools which are SEMH based, where the pupils are identified as having SEMH needs ranging from ADHD, Dyslexia, challenging behaviours and learning difficulties.

The normal working pattern is Monday-Friday 8:30am until 4pm

The successful candidate will have:

• Have experience working with children/adults with complex and SEMH needs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Adaptability and a commitment to meeting the diverse needs of students
• Proficiency in utilising technology for teaching and learning purposes
